Default Swollen!!!

Well I have recently started to have badly swollen feet. I put me feet up and spend most of the day doing nothing as I cant really do much and I still seem to have swollen feet. When I wake up in the morning my feet arent as bad but within an hour they go back to being huge again... Has anyone else had swollen feet during their pregnancy and what did you do to get rid of it? Is there anything you can do to make them go down and can it harm me or the baby? Sorry they stupid questions but I just not sure!!! Thanks ladies.

I had swollen feet, but not as bad as yours sounds, as it didnt really bother me too much, just had to wear my slippers alot. If I was you I would give your midwife a quick ring and see what she says, you are very close to the end now and your blood pressure can go up alot, and sometimes swollen feet, ankles and fingers can be a sign of that, it may be nothing, but its best to be told not to worry by someone who definately knows that worry. Hope it gets better, all the best,
Nicola

Ohh thanks ladies for your message's. hehe
I have an appointment with the midwife on the 16th July which is a couple of weeks away... but I think I might go see my GP and see what they say about it. My feet arent as bad today as I spent most of yesterday watching dvd's and had an early night... and today I havent done much either other then a few bits of washing and my feet dont seem to be as bad. hehe

wen my dad was going through his treatment his legs and feet swelled up very badly they told him to keep his legs elervated so the blood and water flows round your body also drink loads of fluid, my feet really balloon when ive been walking round all day but theres not much we can do, you might just have bad water retention or your doing to much and need to rest more! lol
