Is there any truth in this

I was told by my midwife yesturday the she thinks its a girl because the babys heart rate is over 140, everyone else including me thinks im having a boy, id love a boy but if it is a girl im not bothered, just as long as he/she is a healthy baby thats all that matters, so what do you all think, could this be a myth or is she right?

Have you had any children before?
I had three girls... the pregnancy was all the same... but when i fell for my son Jevan... it was sooooooooo different. Everything that happened with the girls didnt with Jevan or Eche and what happened with the boys did not with the girls.
Example.... Girls = no morning sickness Boys = Morning sickness
" = epilepsy latter half " = The beginning half
" Hair was great " = Hair fell out
You get the idea....
I was really small in size with the girls but massive with the boys...

Yeah i have a 4 year old little girl and i have to say this pregnancy is so different to my last when i was carrying my daughter, with my daughter i was sick really bad all through the day but with this one the sickness was a lil intense at the begining but its gone since i reached 17 weeks, and back ache i have really bad back ache with this one but never had that with my daughter and another thing my boobs shot out straight away with this one but with my daughter it took longer.

right myths and truths!!! good question!!! hehe it really does vary!! i have a girl and a boy and my pregnancies were basically identical... differences were i had heartburn wit amy (worse)... but she was really hairy and william werent!! i got cramps wit william not wit amy!! oh and i was huge wit william but he was 8lb 11 and 57cm long!!! so i think thats why i was bigger!!! hehe apart from that everything else was the same!!!

i kno that a baby boys hearbeat is slower than girls but its hard to say wot the babys gender is for defo coz the babys heartbeat wil also speed up after movement and slow down while sleeping!! if ya get me!! hehe

i say go wit ur instincts... i knew amy was a girl.. i was always drawn to girls clothes/names etc... and i knew william was a boy!!!!

this time my instincts say girl... so if its a boy i'l get the shock of my life!! lol also this pregnancy is completely different to the other2!!!!
