i found out by sheer accident wednesday that i am pregnant. had a sore area, and some brown discharge last sun(tmi) and went drs tuesday to get antibiotics or pessary. mentioned the discharge to nurse and she said could you be pg?

i said no way as we have to have icsi to make our babies. she asked could i be premenopausal and i said no cos when i had scan to check all miscarriage debris had gone in aug, the fertility nurse said my ovaries and eggs were very good and not menopausal at all. so the nurse tues said well i dont know then. cos the only brown discharge i know of is a baby implanting.

so she gave me antibiotics and pessary. but i decided tues night not to take antibiotics and pessary until i'd done a pregnancy test just to eliminate that.

oh my god!!!! 2 pink lines immediately. i couldnt believe it. completely natural. i think im possibly still in shock. very good shock tho :-)

thanks to all your replies. im happy but anxious and frightened. last pg ended in m/c a fortnight later so im a bit on edge right now. waiting for the bubble to burst i suppose. keep testing every 2 days just to make sure, i know im a silly cow. hoping i go full term this time. i read somewhere pg numbers double every 2 days which i why im testing every 2 days. am i completely insane? do the men in white coats need to come pick me up. i think im going slightly mad to quote a queen song
