i have just got out of a bad relationship after having my two kids my ex used to tell me i was mentaly unstable and needed help, he use to push me about, shout in my face for the slightist thing ,always put me down in the end i left him it was the hardest thing i have ever done but the best thing, as i am now happy im just glad my two children were too young to understand what was going on . i put up with it in the beginning because of the children but i know now i have done the best thing for my children in the long run.we are all alot happier.

yes ,i still love him but at the time we both had a lot of stuff going on in our lifes and i just think we needed time apart before it got any worse. in a way i would love for us to be together again .

he wasnt to blame for all of it i could give out to him too i think it was a case of to much to soon, maybe someday we may try again maybe not but at the moment im happy getting on with my life spending time with my kids

well good luck to you , i think that sometimes when you have children it puts a strain on the relatonship im not says anyone has the right to abuse someone but i know from experience that things can get hard some times you just need some space ,maybe thats all you both needed hope whatever happens in your life you find happiness. as i left my then boyfriend 3 years ago now hes my husband we spent 9 months apart and now we are happier than ever and he has never hit me since . x

wot u dont realise is that children go through it no matter wot age they r, u should av got out sooner if it was that bad.(dont mean that in a nasty way)

I DONT THINK THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG IN TRYING AGAIN IF YOU STILL ARE IN LOVE ,I SPLIT WITH MY HAUSBAND 3YEARS AGO FOR 9 MONTHS AFTER HE HIT ME BUT AFTER A MONTH APART WE REALISED WE BOTH STILL WANTED TO BE TOGETHER SO WE STARTED AGAIN ,WE WENT ON DATES AND TALKED THINGS THROUGH ABOUT WHAT WENT WRONG AND WHY THEY HAPPENED ,IT REALLY HELPED AND WE GOT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT EACH OTHER , WE GOT BACK TOGETHER AND WE MARRIED. IM NOT SAYING ALL RELATIONSHIP WORK OUT THAT WAY BUT IF YOU DO STILL LOVE HIM AND ARE BOTH WILLING TO SORT OUT YOUR PROBLEMS THAN WHY NOT ,BY THE SOUNDS OF OHSOFAIRS STORY IT WAS MORE VERBAL ABUSE ,IM NOT SAYING THAT MAKES IT OK IM NOT ,NO FORM OF ABUSE IS OK BUT I KNOW THAT WHEN THINGS GET HARD ARGUEMENTS CAN GET REALLY HEATED AND YOU SAY THINGS YOU DONT ALWAYS MEAN. IF YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN BOTH SORT THIS OUT AND TRY AGAIN AND IT WILL WORK AND YOU'LL BOTH BE HAPPIER THAN GO FOR IT ,MAYBE DO WHAT I DID AND GO OUT A FEW TIMES LIKE GOING ON YOUR FIRST DATE AND TRY TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER AGAIN THAT MAY HELP IT HELPED ME .
