it definitely does affect the childrens behaviour... the little boy in question can be really violent and does swear alot... its coz he knows no other way of venting his frustration... he is a lot better since starting nursery tho!! amy once didnt want to talk to him so he said that he was gonna hit her... i really have to keep my eyes on him wen they r all playing 2geva... but deep down he is a lovely little boy!!!

My cousin saw it all when she was younger too, her mums boyfriend was a nasty piece of work, but her mum wasnt much better and in the end she and her bro and sis got took into care. My mum fostered the eldest Melissa and tried to teach her right from wrong luckily she must have been listening at some point cos her boyfriend hit her last month and she got rid straight away, I was so proud of her!!

This is such a difficult subject - I hate it!
Charley - how you ever found the strength to give those children back I'll never know! I think I would've hidden them away and kept them! Just be careful for your own family as things can escalate massively in situations like yours - even though everyone else will see you are only trying to help - she and possibly her family might not. Good luck hun, fingers crossed xxx.
