Default MAMMA MIA - The greatest film ever?

I have alway been a bit of a lover of the 70,s and loved the BeeGees and Abba. I went to see the Saturday night fever stage show 10 years ago and loved it, but that was nothing to mamma mia the movie which i watched yesterday. I have never been so hyped up by a film in my life and the music was brilliant, much better than I expected, except for poor old Pierce Brosnan. But even after that it was fantastic, once it had finished I wanted to watch it again and went out to buy the soundtrack this morning. Even though I have all the songs on abba albums already.
If you are feeling a bit down in the dumps go and watch this brilliant film and it will cheer you up no end. Only problem is now I want to go and live on a Greek Island, lincolnshire looked dull enough before!

I thought you'd love it! It's ace isn't it!! I know the feeling about the Greek Island, I felt the same - came away wanting to go away to Greece!! I was worried they were going to ruin Abbas music but they didn't at all - it was faaar better than I expected. If any of you get the chance to go and see it, do, cos its brill!!

I want to see this and I will go soon!

As for living on a Greek Island, I DID for 8 years, we only came back 2 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I have to be honest, although it all looks very idyllic, its a very hard way a life! It only idyllic if you have enough money to live and not work.

I used to work in a travel office, with no air-con or toilet for 10 hours a day, 7 days a week for a constant 6 months of the year without a day off. In the winter its closed due to lack of tourists. The average wage is £2.50 per hour. It was really hard work and we had to save hard to live through the workless winter months. Bills out there arent that much cheaper than here, and food is expensive in the supermarkets.

Dont get wrong though ladies, I did have one hell of a time out there and partied hard, probably too hard at times, but like I said its only "all so wonderful" if you can live there and not work.

xx

Oh well, I can still dream, I have a pretty good imagination and Im a bit dim, I think that living in the East end of london is just like it is in Eastenders.
