has any1 got a recipie to make playdough instead of going to the shops lol?

Yes I do! I'm always making it, far cheaper than the shops. You need:

* 1 cup of flour
* 1/2 cup of salt
* 1 tablespoon of cream of tartar
* 1 tablespoon of oil
* I cup of boiling water mixed with some food colouring of whatever colour you need.

You then just put everything in a bowl and then add the water bit by bit till its all mixed in. It lasts much longer than bought ones doesnt dry out as much.

Well you can either put it all in a pan with cold water and boil it, but i find it easier to use boiling water, and make sure its boiling and that works just as well mixing it a bowl.

Regarding the flour, I don't think it matters. Personally, I use plain flour. I have never tried self raising so I don't know if it raises lol!!!

u can also make one out of just any flour, oil and water if you're desperate, tho not quite as efficient.

i followed the same recipe about 2 months ago, put it in an airtight container and its still good to use. the salt preserves it and stops your tot trying to eat it too. it really does taste vial!!!!!
