My twins

I don't think there is anyone else on here who has had twins, but someone might be able to help anyway!

My girls are nearly 18 months and they are really close and don't like to be apart. The only problem is they are still in the same room and I want to get them into their own rooms. I have tried it a few times yet they both just cry knowing they are away from the other. I want them to be independant and be able to cope without the other if you know what I mean. It is probably my fault and I have left it too late to separate them, but does anybody have any ideas on how I can sort them out?

lol like the others i would say wait till there both ready to have there own rooms or you could always bribe them into asking how they want there rooms decorated?

hello i dont think i would get them in thier own rooms till they are ready. did u put them in the same cot when they was babies thats wot i hav been told to do x

My sister in law was never lucky enough to have enough room to put her twin girls to go into seperate rooms, so they always shared and had bunk bed. They are both nearly 17 now and although they share quite similar interests they have quite seperate lives and different friends, while being able to share friends and still enjoying each others company, so I would just wait until they are ready and take it from there, Im sure with your experience as I have that when ever you try to force anything they go the complete opposite way, lol
