| | pleae help | | im calling on all mums for some help, i have a 19 week daughter pregnancy and birth were great, the problems is now......
a few weeks ago when putting her to bed she became very crabby (colic i think) and her restlesness turned to screaming, and i mean screaming taking upto 2 hours for me and my husband to calm her down and i think its stemed from there.
now im an impatient person anyway and i thought becoming a mummy would help with that, but it hasn't. infact its made me worse.
the times ive had to deal with (the screaming) are over shadowing the good times i have with her, i seem to live in fear of her crying all the time, its making me extremely anxious and nervous and i feel scared of her. any slight mummer from her and my body tenses up, scared of her crying for hours again and making me think i don't want this anymore.
i cry myself alot thinking im not coping, my husband says i need to see the doc. why do i feel this way? i have a gorgeous daughter which i have so longed for. i knew it would all be hard but i didn't think this hard. ive asked myself if i think i have PND, maybe i have!! i would just love to wake up on a morning and completely enjoy being a mum with confidence instead of being on auto-pilot, and simply "just getting through a day".
its making me sad, please help ***************xx |

| | Re: pleae help | | i agree with what kez has said, go and see your doctor or if you feel more comfortable with your health visitor speak to her... you arent the first and certainly wont be the last so dont feel uneasy about it, the docs and health visitors have seen many people like you once you see them and ease your worries im sure that you will feel more comfortable with your daughter xx |

| | Re: pleae help | | thanks everyone. i didn't expect much feedback. i hoped the colic would of eased of by now though, ive tryed with baby cereals and maybe im giving her too much for her stomache to digest and that may cause discomfort to her. think i will speak to my HV, like you said, shes there for a reason and thats to help. thanks again people xx |
