Pillow's!!!

Well Mileena is 20 months old and I was wondering when it was ok for her to start using a pillow. I have looked on Google and they say no younger then 2 years old. She use's a flat pillow for her nap during the day and she has been fine with that... but that's only an hour nap so we was wondering for the night time at her age if it ok to use pillow's and what age did you start your little one's using pillow's... sorry might seen dumb question but just wondering...

i brought alfie just a normal single one from tescos, hes had since we took the side of his cot so maybe a week or two, but i know lily has had hers for quite a while now so dont see why she shouldnt be fine with one!

edit: alfies 18 months next week but 17months when he started using it, he does have a proper baby one but i use it pmsl

Yeah I thought that Mileena would be ok at her age... but like I said I read on google under 2 they can still suffocated and it should be a proper baby pillow... Iv just used a new pillow I use to sit in bed with when I feed her... its gone flat so yeah she be ok...

yea like i said i just brought one of tesco's own brand ones and he seems fine with it! but if your still unsure it wont hurt to wait etc

I mean she should be ok coz like there is loads of toys in her cot and she never had any issues with them and they are at the bottom by her feet not her head so cant see why she cant use a pillow of a night when she uses it during the day.

pmsl alfie has dones in there will him to haha but now i stick them on the floor by him annd he pulls them in haha his duvet takes up half the space haha!!

lily has had one since she was 1! we bought her a cot pillow and duvet when she was one just to try and keep her a little warmer rather than having loads of blankets on her in the winter! and she has been fine with it!!

another thing with alfies duvet, i brought him a single one and then cut them to size so he now has 3 insted of just the 1! but the newwer ones are alot warmer cause there 10tog as where baby ones are 4 tog, but like lily alfie used to sleep with loadsss of blankets!

9 times out of 10 tho he doesnt sleep in them for most of the night only a few hours id say so if he wants it on hiim he covers himself and if he dont he throws it off lmao! but we check on him about twice 1 a few hours after hes gone to bed and the other before we go to bed (switch his monitor on etc) and both times i stick the covers back on him but there always off when i next go to check on him haha

yeah lilys the same she will take the covers off and put them back on when she gets cold!

Ahhhh ok. Thanks loads... making me see things in a different light now.

Coz it summer and we have air con I only been using a blanket flodded on Mileena and she kicks that off and it was cold here last week I dressed her in warmer clothes and still only used the one blanket and she was fine... but my mum wake's every 2 hour's and always checks on Mileena... where as I dont wake at all til the morning or unless Mileena wakes up and cries. :S
