woke up and thought id wet the bed so i got up went to loo then tried to get back to sleep!of course the contractions started so i ran the bath and put teletext on tv to time them,they were coming every 21/2 mins!i called the midwife who said empty the bath and get to the hospital.i woke up neil who of course had to brush his teeth and do his hair!!!!then once at the hospital rang round everyone while i carried my bag in and hobbled in ha ha i can laugh now but i said a few choice words then i tell you!once settled in labour room i was told i was 9cm dilated,i had gas and air and of course neil in a head lock and our lovely little boy Bailey was born 3 1/2 hours later weighing 7Lb 1oz.I loved the whole experience and thats why we are due baby no.2 in dec.
