its so hard sometimes

it all started when i was 16 and my periods started playing up. i went to see my gp,he refered me to a gynacologist who ordered an ultra sound scan.the scan showed i had polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos). at 16 i didn\\\\\\\'t really worry about it as i was told it may sort its self out. but then at 21 i found i had excess hair growth on my face. my gp put me on the pill. later that year i was diagnosed diabetic, so had to come off the pill. ive had laser treatment on my face but that just made it all worse. every day i get laughed at and talked about, it makes me feel like im a freak. ive now been told that having children will be a pure miracle.when i met ant in 1995, it was the best thing that ever happened to me, because he loves me for who i am not what i look like. its ant that has taught me to hold my head up high and take no notice of the ppl who stare and laugh.he says im loads better than them. It is hard though as all i want is to be able to have a family of my own.ive been told if i loose some weight it may help, but its so hard to loose weight being a diabetic plus having pcos.ppl dont seem to understand hirsutism (excess hair)is not a contagious disease its just something that i have and thats that.
