Mums Job

Mums-Job in the eyes of my Partner….

Being a mum… according to my partner…the easy job! However I disagree!

We wake up in the morning, whenever our baby wakes up, sometimes more the middle of the night, no matter if were are ready to wake up or not, baby cries- your up!! Then we go into the nursery, decide what clothes they are going to wear, they got to look cute of course.

After the fashion palaver we then take them into their high chair and prepare there lovely gourmet breakfast, or in our house, a baby jar. After the task of feeding them is past you get a nice surprise of what in side the nappy, it’s like a worse of to evils ha-ha.

Trying to keep your child amused after they are newly wakened so you can get the chance to have a shower, and make your self look half like the rest of the world, can be a difficult task but I find the help of a musical baby walker is a mums best friend.

So it’s like 9 in the morning both mum and baby look good all fed washed and watered, and mum gets a load of washing on, tidy up a tad and gets the bottles ready for that day, again with the help of a musical baby walker!

If it’s a non hectic day you can have the fun and joy of playing with your baby most o the day with more washing and ironing thrown in, at odd times.

However if it’s a hectic day like my Thursday, it’s all go go go.

We have the morning routine, and then at ten me are off in the buggy round to the clinic, undressed again, not mummy of course, pop on the scales chat with the health visitor alls fine. Back home again just in time for dinner, mummy yum, another lovely, fruity jar and some summer fruits juicy. Back in the buggy again around to the community centre for toddlers and mums group, oh what joy, a chance for mummy, its has some adult conversation. However baby has no idea, cause to them toys are toys ha ha.

Around mid afternoon we walk back home just in time to get the washing in, do some hovering.. Then its baby bottle time.

Around for o’clock after I go to the fridge for a drink, I discover its empty, so it’s in the car off to tesco, for some daily shopping- oh wait mummy no Pennys, better go to the bank first. Now going to tesco you think would be easy however you meet so many people who want it see your baby it takes twice as long.

Home for supper time, Gourmet Jar yet again… Mummy will grab a pizza slice or something. We both have a seat, watch a wee bit of the soaps, talk to granny’s to report all about baby and mums day, give baby a lovely bathy, and in PJs and had her bedtime bottle and snuggled up in bed, Mum sits down for an hour, heads up to bed, and waits to hear the sound of her darling baby in the morning where this all starts again.

So to all the dads out there, it’s no really easy, but with the help of musical baby walkers, and Gourmet jars, we can get buy!!

Ha-ha just for fun girl’s xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
