It\\\\\\\'s Never How You Imagine It......Lol.
When your young and chat to your friends about how you thimk your life will pan out, When you will live with someone, When you will get engaged, When you\\\\\\\'ll get married you know , that sort of thing.
Well... I thought... I would meet someone really nice, maybe while out partying or something...Lol. After a few years or so we would move in together, then he\\\\\\\'d propose(in the most romantic way possible of course..Lol) another year later. By now i would be around 26 or 27 and we will have enough saved our wedding. The date is set for sometime at the end of August the following year and i set to work on the planning. The wedding all goes perfectly to plan and we enjoy a 2 week Honeymoon somewhere nice and Hot.
A short while later after deciding we were ready to start a family i fall pregnant, and we then went on to have 3 or 4 more kids later.
Sounds Wonderful does\\\\\\\'nt it ? Everything perfect, Everything runs to plan. I never really thought about all the problems that could occur, Or the Huge decisions you have to make on the way. Maybe if we did it would have prepared me for the \\\\\\\"Real World\\\\\\\"...Lol.
I know there are probably millions of girls out there who also had the same wonderful idea of how lifes would be as you grow up, But i suppose it was nice to have that dream for a little while...Ay?...LOL.
Now Let me tell you how it actually happened for me, and you can see for yourself why a few helpful hints or little warnings here and there would have been very much appreciated...Lol.
I first met my husband at the end of March 2000 at a friends house, I thought he was gorgeous and gigled to my friend how i fancied him when he left. we met up a few more times and we would flirted a bit and then one day he calls me and asks if we can meet up, Of course i said YES and we met the next night. Unbeknown to me, He had mentioned to my friend that he liked me and who then went on to tell him exactly what i had said about him(which she did actually promise not to tell a single soul about...but i forgive her now..Lol)
We had a wicked night and we got on really well, i know its a bit \\\\\\\"clishe\\\\\\\" but we just clicked, I mean..who normally talkes about what our kids would look like after seeing him just a few times??
I shared a flat with my brother at the time and he and his mate shared a flat not far away from us. We were inseparable for the next couple of weeks. Then out the blue his flat mate decides he is leaving and going back to where his parents lived, So of course he then had nowhere to stay, and after just 3 weeks together i find myself saying \\\\\\\"why don\\\\\\\'t you come and live with me\\\\\\\".
We had already told each other that we love each other many times and a week later he gets home late from a nite out with his mate, Very drunk may i add, and snuggles up to me in bed and continues to say \\\\\\\"I love you babe, Will you marry me?\\\\\\\" I Laughed it off but he kept insisting that he is deadly serious, I didnt really believe him so i said yes i would marry him BUT he had to ask me again in the morning if he was serious. It was a nice thought to go to sleep on, but i didnt really expect him to remember or if he did he wasn\\\\\\\'t likely to admit it, and i certanly wasnt going to be reminding him either...lol.
But he did...at 6:15am he gently woke me just before he left for work and asked me to marry him again.(Hoorah..Lol)
WE decided to move to liverpool but it didnt work out with the friends we were staying with so we ended up moving in with his sister for a while(i had only met his sister once before)While there she reminded him of something he once said to her and it was that if he ever got married it would have to be in the year 2000, so thats when we decided we would get married on the 24th November that same year, we are now at the beggining of july so that gave me about 4 months to plan. Ive never wanted to get married in a church, the thought was always to nerve wracking for some reason so we booked the register office, bought the rings, sorted an outfit. Then my dad rings me and tells me that my wedding will be paid for as he has been putting some money away for years. He bought my dress, paid for reception, the hooneymoon suite at the hotel for the night and a weeks honeymoon to lanzarote. My mum(separated from my dad) paid for our cake, the flowers and button holes. everything was ready in time and i had fantastic day, It was exactly a month before i turned 19.
So to recap...We met in March, Got together on 5th May, moved in together in June, engaged in July and we married in November.
We moved into our own house just after christmas and i found out i was pregnant in February 2001, we had our first son in september, My hubby already had 3 kids from a previous relationship, a 6 yr old son and 4 yr old twin girls who we didnt really get to see very often due to their mother but they would stay over when they could.
We then had a daughter in 2003 and after an 18 month court battle we won full time residency of his other 3 kids in 2004 when their mother was deemed unfit and then went on to have another son together in 2005.
So...as you can see, apart from the \\\\\\\"meeting someone really nice\\\\\\\" bit i couldnt have been more wrong could i....Lol. There has been some really tough times and many people said we wouldnt last 5 minutes but we will have been married for 7yrs on our anniversary this November, still together, Still close and we still love each other very much.
