Childs behaviour

This is a poem on a childs behaviour:-

How many times do you see a child?
Who acts like a cat or dog from the wild?
I know this feeling only too well
As my child has acted like this as well.

What to do? Where to turn? What to say?
Other parents stare at me and look my way.
This happens to them does it not?
They’ve never had a child put them on the spot.

Let’s, be real. Let’s not lie. It happens to us all
When you do not buy your child that much wanted ball?
I’m a good mother, a teacher, a friend.
And we are all guilty of letting our rules bend.

The child screams.” I want that sweet!”
But to calm her down we admit defeat.
This is wrong yet this I know.
But for now we’ll let it all go.

Back at home, your child is now calm.
Where her behaviour now causes no harm.
She is so good now. “Typical!” You say,
But once again she got her own way.

She is clever, and wise. She has learnt now,
That she gets what she wants if she’s bad in town.
This just can’t go on, oh daughter of mine.
No matter whether you scream, yell or whine.

It took some time, but learnt she did,
That she must learn a new behaviour bid.
Good as gold she is always is now,
No more in town does she make that row.
