When i found out that i was pregnant i was shocked. i Was only 17.
My Partner and i have been best friends since i was 11 and was 18 months older than me.
I was on the pill but had not been well with the stress of us just moving into our first place together.I missed my period the next month but convinced myself and my boyfriend that it would start the next day but it never did.Then one day my boyfriend had a day off work and took it upon himself to go and buy a test.He came and met me after i finished work and waved it in my face and said \\\\\\\"you need to do it just to find out either way\\\\\\\".So i snatched it off him and put it in my bag before anyone from work saw it.
As soon as got home i sat on the sofa crossing my legs if he saw me go to the toilet he would follow and get me to do the test but i was scared cause deep down i knew what it was going to say just as much as he did.
But i couldnt hold it anymore so as i got up to go to the toilet he came rushing in with the test.I had to do it, no matter how scared i was i had him for support.
I sat on the toilet as my boyfriend sat on the side of the bath.I did the test and lent it on the sink i flushed the toilet and we both looked over the test and it was there two pink lines.My boyfriend flung his arms around me and said no matter what he would be there every step of the way. And he was!.
We told our families and my mum was the most shocked but she is my mum she has to worry.But she is so supportive.
I took a urine sample to the doctors and three days later it was confirmed along with an appointment to visit the midwife.
Me and my boyfriend went to the appointment together the midwife was so rude she would not speek to my boyfriend and talked to me as though i was five. It really hurt us both we were no different to anyone else yes we was young but we had been together nearly two years, both worked full-time and had our own place we deserved some sort of respect we had worked hard for it.
So we both decided it would be better to change doctors.
