Being a teenage mother pt 1

OK, I was a very young Mummy. It was April 1999 when I first found out I was pregnant. I had been with my boyfriend (who I am still with now) for just 7 months and I was only 13 years old. I had never, and to this day have still never been that scared in my life. I knew I had skipped two periods but Mike and I had always been careful so I couldn\\\\\\\'t possibly be pregnant. Mike being older and a little more mature (only by 2 years!) persuaded me to go to the doctors and they did a test there and then which confirmed I was pregnant. I had all the routine checks and everything and it turned out I was 8 weeks gone already.
I continued the rest of the school year and did not tell my family until I really had to, which was when I really began to show at about 6 months. My family were supportive and I knew we would work through it together.
Louse arrived after 9 hours of intense labour at a healthy weight of 6lb 10oz. The moment I held her in my arms, the pain drifted away and so did I. She opened her eyes briefly and the lil dark holes looked up at me and that was when I knew she was going to be the most amazing thing that ever happened to me....
