Well i have to say quite honestly we werent overjoyed that i was
pregnant again,i had been on the pill since after having my little boy,who was only 18 months when i fell again.Im sad to say i booked for an abortion not once but twice and i was driven to bournemouth by my partner,and we both sat their and cried our hearts out!!So needless to say i didnt have it done.I became very depressed as i felt so tired and sick,and little thomas was still waking at night i felt a wreck,it was really hard with all of them.Mid-pregnancy i developed serious eye problems,they thought i had pre-eclampsia,but the symptoms became so bad i could hardly venture out the house,daylight was very painful,i had numerous trips to hospital and
no one could find wot my problem was,i felt like i was going mad,thought i was going blind,experienced continual flashing lights it was so scary and quite lonely at times.my partner became very unsupportive and we just drifted apart by the end of the pregnancy,even the labour was horrendous,only part of my waters broke
at 8.30am and contractions coming and then drifting off,but hospital told me to go in cos 5th babies come quick,so nanny had kids,got to hospital and they examined me i was only 2cm dilated,so i got carted up on the ward,the whole day was rather uneventful,contractions werent really coming together,so by 7pm partner decided to go home
and put kiddies to bed,so i went for a nice warm bath alone,suddenly
the contractions came back fast and furiously,managed to hoist myself out bath put some clothes on and tell the midwife i needed some help,i was in terrific pain she told me to go for another walk!!i said not to be ridiculous could she phone my partner to come back up,but they were in such a panic so i called on my mobile and he drove back,i had serious medical problems they couldnt find my notes!!so i had to guide them tell them i needed a drip,antibiotics for strep-b amongst other things,they were still flapping around,and i was still in the ward in full blown labour,with all the other pregnant mums with their visitors,my waters had broken and i really needed to push,i told the mid wives id be giving birth in front of every1 if they didnt get me to the ward,they managed to get the pethidine id been screaming about for half an hour.finally got to labour room,and was 9cms dilated,my partner beside me was looking
rather a shady green colour,and had to keep stepping out cos he felt really sick,later found ate it was cos he d stuffed a macdonalds 10 mins before i called!well i was on one of those monitors checking babys heartbeat all way thro,she became very distressed,as i was so tired from pushing,her heartbeat dropped further and they said i must hurry,she was in danger,she just made it into the world on time,before anything dreadful happened,my partner was so dazed by the whole event he said \\\\\\\"its a boy\\\\\\\",actually it was our beautiful little girl katie marie weighing 6lb10,altho i had my doubts at the beginning of pregnancy,we bonded together rite away,unfortunately i haemorraged but didnt need transfusion this time,i later was diagonosed with serious eye disease,has taken a while to come to terms wiv it but we are a strong family,we will get thro together.
